--Stardew Valley--
As the most played game in my Steam library, I would not be able to call anything else my favorite game. I love building my farm up and the customization you can do, and that's without any of the mods that the community has poured out. I try for the most part to play without mods that are just visual (for example, seasonal outfits before that got added by ConcernedApe himself - I very much admire him as a developer), though I do have one to age up children a bit more because otherwise they remain a useless waste of space! I have yet to actually reach perfection, opting to start up new farms and new journeys when I return to the game after a period of time. I like listening to podcasts while I play the majority of the time too, so it is a very fun experience overall, and definitely my comfort game that I will continue to return to.

As soon as I heard about this game and its upcoming release date, I knew I had to get it more strongly than any game I have ever wanted to get. Because of college commitments though, it wasn't until December when I bought the game, and I used my winter break to really binge through it all. I ended up getting a part time job on my month off so that I could build a PC with specs strong enough as my Dell laptop couldn't handle it storage-wise or RAM-wise. Best decision I have made, it's been great to have a PC and also this game was a phenomenal story and was a nice supplement in place of being able to play D&D with people irl.

--The Adventure Zone--
I started playing D&D back in roughly 2019 and my first media introduction to Dungeons and Dragons podcasts was with The Adventure Zone Balance. I became deeply invested in the story and when COVID hit, continuted to binge listen to more of the series to stay entertained while embroidering or painting. Griffin McElroy's DMing style plays a huge influence on my own storytelling and I truly believe the series to be a masterpiece of narrative writing (along with a wonderful instrumental soundtrack that I listen to while studying). To the non-fans, it is even the main inspiration for my site theming. Since then, I have given the series a few relistens and plan to get my hands on the series in graphic novel form when they finish releasing! As stated elsewhere, I also enjoy Amnesty, Steeplechase, and Graduation. I'm just a huge fan overall of the blend of rowdy comedy with touches of artistic seriousness. :)
